The True Comfort writer signed a contract to buy the Franklin, Tennessee, home — which was listed for $5.5 million — the day after she and Cutler announced their split after seven years of marriage. Cavallari officially revealed that she moved into a new space two months later. Jay, 36, shared the same statement to fans on his social media, choosing a black-and-white snap of the couple during happier times.

The kitchen features copper accents from Cavallari’s Uncommon James line, and she even has a junk drawer just like everyone else. The family then headed to Tennessee for Jay's job and Kristin landed new reality show on E! The pair has been living in Nashville, but she reportedly wants to return to California after the split. The couple previously tried to sell the seven-bedroom home in 2018 for $7.9 million, but it was later unlisted when it failed to rouse interest among buyers, according to E!.

Show Very Cavallari—and husband Jay Cutler listed their Nashville estate for $7.9 million, Realtor.com reports, which was then dropped to $5.75 million in 2019 and $4.95 million in 2020. While the home was featured in season one of Very Cavallari, the couple seemed ready for a change. The house also features gorgeous, light hardwoods throughout, white built-in shelves, and a fireplace in the living room. According to The Sun, the home boasts a round hallway archway with brick details as well as another stone fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows.
Cavallari insists she "has the necessary resources" to buy the property in "in cash" and signed a contract for the home on April 27. Cavallari and Cutler share sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and daughter Saylor, 4. According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the kids will remain at their Tennessee home just outside Nashville, with Cavallari and Cutler switching off every other week to stay with their children. Cavallari also had a mini-farm at the home she shared with Cutler, and she appears to have one at her new home as well, based on photos of a chicken coop she has shared. There is a large front porch with a swing on it which Cavallari sometimes uses for photoshoots. Other outdoor photos reveal that there is a barn on the sprawling property.
